My stay was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions like the Pitt Rivers Museum and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, both easily reachable by foot. The room was recently updated and very comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the well-prepared breakfast, which was a highlight of my day. The fact that there was onsite parking made it even more convenient for me as a group traveler.

The small double room I stayed in was quite cramped for my needs, making it difficult to relax. Additionally, accessing the room on the top floor was a challenging experience due to the lack of a lift. carrying my bags and maneuvering through tight spaces left me feeling exhausted. For solo travelers or those with mobility issues, I would not recommend this guest house as the stairs can be quite daunting.

i had a great stay at sportsview guest house. the location is fantastic—only a 10-15 minute walk to the town center, and there’s a bus stop right across the street. the free parking was a nice perk, and the staff at reception were super helpful.

i almost thought about giving this place a good review until i was greeted by constant knocking at my door, and the air conditioning in my in-laws' room was non-existent. for such a famous guesthouse, one would think a complimentary upgrade was in order. sadly, no such luck. shameful experience.

Had a great time with friends! The location is a short 20-minute walk to the city center and very close to Christ Church. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s free parking available. We explored a local cafe for breakfast and enjoyed the comfortable beds after our long days.

Consider using the bus stop across the street for an easy ride into central Oxford during rainy weather.

The Double Room was super comfy and very clean, which I really appreciated. I had nice amenities like a desk and coffee-making station. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained too. Location-wise, it was just a short walk to the city center. But, it was kind of small, so it felt a little cramped when I had my bags around. Also, I found the room a bit chilly in the morning due to the cold weather.
